ROVER BOOK DRIVE-THRU CASTING CALL BENEFITTING THE WAGMOR LOS ANGELES ANIMAL RESCUE
COVID-19 has completely changed the landscape of fundraising as non-profits are forced to cancel critical events in the era of social distancing requirements. RoverWorks and The Wagmor is changing the format and providing much-needed entertainment for animal-lovers by raising funds in the first-ever, drive-thru casting call event!
Together, The Wagmor and RoverWorks hope to raise money, build awareness, save lives, and make a difference for homeless animals during the COVID-19 crisis.
Participants will secure the opportunity to meet Rover Photographers Andrew Grant & Amanda Hedlund while taking their pet for a joy ride and bid on luxury gift basket auction items to benefit The Wagmor animal adoptions, facility expansion and a spay/neuter van to offer free services for low-income pet owners. Representatives from The Wagmor will be in attendance to share their organization’s needs and current pets available for adoption.
RoverWorks is a nationwide fundraising project that gives animal-lovers the opportunity to have their dog(s) photographed by renowned photographers Andrew Grant & Amanda Hedlund and be featured in the next edition of the best-selling book Rover, a 500-page coffee table book that features photographs of dogs from across the country.
Roverfirst gained national attention when Ellen DeGeneres featured the very first edition of Rover on her show in 2009. Since then, this unique program has generated donations of over $3 million by pet advocates wanting to have their dogs featured in Rover, bridged relationships between deserving rescues and generous donors and inspired countless people to welcome a shelter pet into their home.
