In 2009 Ellen DeGeneres gave Oprah Winfrey a copy of Rover, a huge coffee table book of dogs on her Christmas show. Ellen's support turned a photographer's one-year book project into an effort to reduce the homeless pet population across the country. Just nine months earlier, acclaimed commercial photographer Andrew Grant, decided to produce the Rover in an effort to raise money for and bring awareness to pet rescues across the country.
The result was a timeless and heartwarming tribute to man's best friend. Grant's soulful images captures the many unique shapes and colors of man's best friend as well as their diverse personalities in absolutely stunning detail.
